Burns & McDonnell is a 100% employee owned company with a 123 year history in the water/wastewater business. Our Denver office is looking for a talented employee owner to serve as a Senior Environmental Engineer/Project Manager to support our municipal water/wastewater process departments.

Skills at a minimum should include:

• Strong project engineering history with a proven record of building strong client relationships.

• Strong technical capabilities with the development of contract documents including a thorough understanding of all engineering concepts related to municipal water/wastewater treatment facility and pumping facilities design and construction.

• Experience with permitting of water/wastewater facilities through local, state, and federal regulators.

• Excellent written and verbal communication.

• Strong commitment to working in a team environment.

• Attention to detail and company quality control procedures.

Qualifications

• The successful candidate must possess a bachelor's degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited program with a water or civil curriculum focus.

• This position requires at least 8 years related experience (completion of a master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year experience) with design and construction administration of water/wastewater treatment and pumping projects. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills along with excellent written and verbal communication skills are a must.

• The successful candidate must be capable of executing all phases of projects including planning, preparation of specifications & drawings, construction administration and field observation on occasion.

• Valid driver's license required. In addition, must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company's vehicle driving privileges as outlined in the Company's Motor Vehicle Safety Policy.

Compensation Range

$140,000 - $190,000

The expected compensation range for this position is displayed in compliance with all local/state regulations. The expected compensation range for this position is based on a number of factors, including but not limited to: individual education, qualifications, prior work experience and work location. The total annual compensation package will consist of a base salary and eligibility to participate in our discretionary year-end incentive bonus program.
