Burns & McDonnell Assistant Geologist / Environmental Scientist in Denver, Colorado

Description

Responsibilities include conducting environmental site assessments, borehole logging, monitoring well construction and development, development of soil and groundwater sampling plans, media sampling, materials management plans, construction oversight, data analysis, site remediation, proposal and report writing, task management as well as client interface. Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science degree in Geology, Environmental Science or related field.

  • Zero to three years of professional related experience.

  • A master's degree may substitute for one year of experience.

  • Previous consulting experience, including site assessment experience, such as Phase I, Phase II, and remediation is preferred.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

  • OSHA HAZWOPER trained and knowledge of CERCLA and RCRA is preferred.
