Burns & McDonnell Assistant Experiential Design Project Specialist – Corporate Marketing (Kansas City) in Kansas City, Missouri
The Assistant Experiential Design Project Manager will assist in managing, directing and coordinating all aspects of the company's experiential design efforts within Corporate Marketing to bring the Burns & McDonnell brand to life within physical environments. This position will be responsible for the successful installation and maintenance of branded graphics across all of Burns & McDonnell's built environments and sponsored spaces with the goal of creating a well-branded and memorable experience
Assist in preparing graphics plans for offices and request bids from outside graphics partners
Develop and monitor project schedules, manage scope and control cost to ensure graphics are installed on-time and within agreed-upon budgets
Manage project financials and assist in procurement and invoicing process
Serve as a point of contact for internal office partners regarding project coordination, strategic planning, schedule review and other client interactions
Work closely with the project team to ensure design deliverables are provided on-time and comply with company quality standards
Regularly report on project status of all active projects
Manage relationships with graphics fabrication vendors to help guide experiential projects from concept to completion.
Collaborate with Facilities team and other internal department to make sure office projects are on schedule and help remove roadblocks.
Follow established quality control processes.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration or related degree is required.
Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.
Familiar with industry-standard graphic design and layout software (i.e. Adobe Creative Suite, etc.) preferred.
Experience with large format printing and signage industry preferred.
Ability to work effectively with teams in person and virtually.
Strong visual proofing and error-checking skills.
Skill managing fast-paced deadlines for concurrent projects with various teams.
Experience with one or more cost management systems preferred.
Ability to work independently, think creatively and analytically, and make quick and sound decisions.
Excellent problem solving skills.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, verbal and written communication skills and ability to handle multiple tasks.
Demonstrated ability to communicate with all levels within an organization.
Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required.
