  • Use Revit to create, manage and own MEP BIM models and develop content, as needed.

  • Perform multi-discipline coordination utilizing BIM techniques and clash detection tools.

  • Lead effort in planning and preparing drawings derived from BIM models.

  • Interface BIM models with MEP analysis tools.

  • Generate project specific custom Revit families and BIM templates and content, as needed.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of BIM and CAD standards and best practices.

  • Learn and successfully apply company, client, and project drafting standards and procedures.

  • Demonstrate ability to apply formulas, principles, and practices to complete required models and drawings.

  • Provide a range of drawing production work including problem analysis, layout, modeling, detailing, drafting, and coordination with other disciplines on project of substantial variety and complexity.

  • Demonstrate knowledge of assigned and related disciplines.

  • Coordinate BIM activities with other designers, drafters, and design disciplines.

  • Successfully communicate and correspond with internal design resources and external clients and personnel.

  • Execute design changes and project drawing revisions.

  • Maintain BIM and CAD proficiency and mastery of current software platforms.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years professional BIM experience.

  • Advanced knowledge of Revit, BIM, Autodesk 360 Design, Dynamo, and other engineering and design software suites in a production environment.

  • Basic knowledge of UNIFI, HIVE, or similar BIM content management software

  • Prior experience in the engineering/construction industry preferred.

  • Strong customer service, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Strong ability to ascertain customer concerns, consider alternatives and provide customers guidance to solve their questions.

  • Ability to interact with customers in a professional manner that enhances the customers’ experience and increases productivity.

  • Organizational and prioritization skills to interact with multiple customers with differing needs.

  • Ability to work independently and meet multiple deadlines.

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office.
