Burns & McDonnell Communications Coordinator in Kansas City, Missouri
The Communications Coordinator will develop all marketing and communications efforts for the client, including the creation of proposals, presentations, and internal and external communications. This position will interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing, deadline driven environment; remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
Create and execute targeted communications campaigns for internal clients.
Build and maintain a strategic communication approach to internal content structure and management.
Responsible for executing and managing internal communication campaigns, internal facing emails and intranet content.
Prepare information and materials for submittals, presentations and proposals.
Ensure brand guidelines are implemented into all projects.
Presents comprehensive recap and next steps at internal team meetings.
Responsible for quality control of daily client status reports to marketing strategy team.
Responsible for internal client approvals on all phases of a project.
Responsible for tracking benchmarks on timing and budget, and notifies supervisor of relevant fluctuations.
Ensures client deadlines and quality expectations are met.
All other duties as assigned.
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, or related degree.
Minimum four years corporate communications' experience required. Previous experience in A/E industry preferred.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Excellent organizational skills.
Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast paced deadline driven environment.
Basic knowledge in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
Demonstrated experience in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop experience preferred.
