Description
To enable Marketing and PR business partners to focus on meeting business and sales goals, the Marketing Project Management Coordinator will plan and execute projects related to marketing and communications campaigns in an ever-changing, deadline driven environment. In this role, the Marketing Project Management Coordinator will partner with marketing & PR business partners to turn vision into reality by identifying and coordinating projects and tasks needed to execute the deliverables and strategically delegate those tasks to appropriate creative team members. This role will be successful by remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidence.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Coordinate marketing projects by developing timelines, assigning tasks, and communicating with creative teams needed to implement strategic marketing visions
Collaborate and effectively communicate with the entire creative team, typically consisting of writers, designers, digital marketers, photographers, videographers through the entire creative process
Create project timelines, and ensure team members meet targeted timelines
Understand and implement brand guidelines and standards into all projects
Attend and support project kickoff meetings, bringing necessary materials and providing comprehensive recap and next steps to the marketing team
Provide project data and reporting to marketing strategy team
Maintain excellent client service, with both internal marketing partners and internal business clients
Participate in marketing training sessions to improve marketing, communications, digital and content marketing knowledge
All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, Communications, Business Administration or related degree is required
0-3 years experience
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point
Excellent communication skills: verbal, technical writing and creative writing as well as proofreading and editing
High level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
Process oriented while remaining flexible and agile
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize deadlines, and implement action
