Description
The Senior Architect will lead project teams of architects, designers and engineers to create world class design on a variety of projects including aviation, government, and military from concept design through completion of construction.
Perform variety of design projects from conceptual design through construction administration
Incorporates applicable codes, construction techniques and sequences in various projects including all aspects of cross disciplines
Supervises the preparation and checks the accuracy of contract documents
Developing, modify, and review production drawings for aviation-related commercial, government and military facilities
Capable of providing leadership to a team that is performing a sequence of tasks
Ability to instill motivation to the team to meet projected milestones and capable of adjusting the procedures to keep the progress on target. Manage data complied as required by the project managers
Responsible for accounting of individual project involvement, i.e. scheduling, scope, role and budget
Makes public presentations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited program
A minimum of 7 years of experience
Prefer previous experience in military, airport, and government related experience
Ability to coordinate with engineering disciplines
NCARB certified registered architect in any state
Must have ability to read and interpret architectural and engineering plans and specifications
Expert software and computer skills required including AutoCAD, BIM (Revit), 3D Rendering Programs, and Microsoft Professional Office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Strong technical, written, and verbal communication skills are required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
