Description
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst will be a member of a team that consults and supports the Accounting/Finance department in analyzing system requirements, troubleshooting system issues and being involved in implementations to support the overall organization. The Financial Systems Team is responsible for providing guidance and assessing desired future state through feedback from management, stakeholders, subject matter experts and project team members. This team works closely with the information technology development team to execute department initiatives.
The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is responsible for leading initiatives that include designing, configuring, and testing financial systems for enhancements and upgrades. This includes designing and communicating custom functionality, reports, and integrations to the development team. Primary areas supported include (but are not limited to) general ledger, accounts receivable, accounts payable, cash management, expense reports, fixed assets, project costing, project billing and project forecasting, international subsidiaries, and payroll.
List of Duties/Responsibilities:
Team Functional lead to help execute ERP Cloud Implementation of finance-related modules, including planning, design, development, testing, training
Collaborate with businesses in the evaluation and selection of financial software systems and tools
Gather and document functional business processes and requirements
Research, design, setup and test financial systems for enhancements and upgrades or initial implementation
Set requirements for custom functionality, reports, and integrations
Serve as liaison between the Accounting/Finance business and IT that understands the business and technical side of projects.
Develop and execute the detailed test scripts for validating system solution
Create the training materials and present training for end-users
Assist in change management to help adaptation of new systems and processes
Troubleshoot system issues with end-users and IT developers
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Technology-related field
Minimum 11 years of relevant experience in accounting and/or financial systems.
Experience with system implementations is strongly preferred.
Experience with Oracle applications, specifically Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud preferred.
SQL and/or business analyst experience is a plus.
Self-motivated and good organizational skills.
Able to creatively analyze and solve problems independently.
Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft office.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
