The Senior Market Insight Research Analyst will be responsible for assessing research needs, sourcing and conducting research, providing critical analysis, and presenting findings to the business. This position will be responsible for leading and performing both quantitative and qualitative analysis. The Senior Market Research Analyst will work with large and complex data sets, therefore must have a clear understanding of the full data ecosystem from source to delivery. The Senior Market Research Analyst will work with varied business lines and in support of a broad range of strategies, therefore must be curious-minded and comfortable in seeking verifiable information credible sources and do so abiding by compliance standards.The Senior Market Insight Research Analyst will help lead efforts to proactively deliver actionable insights and business intelligence to key stakeholders. The Senior Market Insight Research Analyst will help determine best practices as it relates to Market Insight services. The Senior Market Insight Research Analyst must possess strong communication skills, be highly analytical and possess skills in identifying areas of competitive intelligence.
Scope research needs, conduct research and present findings to the marketing and business partners.
Identify, develop and maintain knowledge base in strategically significant areas; stay updated on macroeconomic and business environment to identify trends and potential business impacts
Prepare research deliverables; reports, studies, statistical analysis, graphs and custom interface.
Identify ways to improve corporate market insight services
Monitor news/publications/industry trends/competitive landscape for market insight purposes
Support and/or partner with providers on primary and secondary research efforts.
Competent in data analysis and segmentation.
Train and support business in accessing, utilizing and applying research sources and tools.
Establish research best practices in support of business intelligence.
Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature and other sources.
Prepare reports, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings.
Utilize intelligence and software tools to analyze and synthesize complex information
Synthesize research findings into well-written and visually compelling summary reports and presentations

Bachelor’s degree (Business, Market Research, Statistics, Engineering, or Construction related field), or equivalent industry experience.Minimum of 8 years’ experience conducting, analyzing and documenting market research
Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and experience
Experience with primary and secondary research
Experience with organizing and cataloging research
Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of work, managing multiple projects and coordinating multiple requests to successful completion.
Proven ability to take initiative and build strong and productive personal relationships
Excellent creative and strategic abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
Basic understanding of data management and analytical software, such as CRM, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.
Superior organizational, time management and project management skills, and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment
