The Program Technology Manager is responsible for leading, managing and delivering the technology and customer requirements for client Program Management. This position will play a critical role between the customer and the Program team to drive the execution of the Programs. This includes strategic planning, managing Program deliverables, gathering and prioritizing customer requirements, defining the vision, and working closely with internal Global Practices to deliver winning solutions. The Program Technology Manager will work with the management team, sales, marketing and support personnel to drive revenue, profitability, and customer satisfaction goals are attained and that the program and marketing efforts support Burns & McDonnell overall strategy and goals.

What you will do

  • Responsible for client development and maintaining vendor relationships to evaluate integration of their solution(s) into business processes. Lead proposal efforts and identify key solutions

  • Present at tradeshows and conferences, emerging trends, markets and technologies. Responsible for identifying and developing new and existing clients and vendors.

  • Lead program team to document business processes and identify ways to improve the execution of programs and services to improve workflow and efficiency.

  • Develop technical requirements for programs by working with stakeholders (both internal and external) as needed, ensuring that stakeholder and client needs are attained.

  • Work with technical teams to develop and refine the technical parameters to ensure successful program solutions are delivered.

  • Perform technology solution demonstrations to client.

  • Lead the Program overall budget proposal to ensure financial success and adhere to keeping the budget on track.

  • Expert experience in managing projects, which includes proposal development, contract negotiations, project planning, design team coordination & communication, budgeting, schedule management, and client coordination.

  • Expert facilitation, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated success as to budget, savings and/or profit margins in completed projects.

  • Responsible for daily program execution, focusing on technology requirements and driving client satisfaction.

  • Lead Technology liaison between the client and the program team (including internal and external technology partners).

  • Manage development and execution of overall Program technology solutions to achieve goals and objectives.

  • Support sales proposals/efforts by providing technology capability details when clients request.

  • Interface with client counterparts for Program software and technology coordination.

  • Direct oversight and management of Program deliverables, including ownership of technology solutions and Client requirements and coordination.

  • Own, coordinate, manage, track, and continually improve tools and processes developed in Program execution.

  • Develop and maintain Program technology strategies for global practice and/or regional office.

  • Recruits, develops, trains, and retains outstanding employee-owners.

  • Responsible for conducting performance evaluations for direct reports.

  • Ensures compliance with company and site safety policies.

  • Demonstrate a commitment to the division's Quality procedures.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Construction Management or related degree from an accredited program and 7 years of related professional experience in design, construction, program management, and/or project management

  • 11 years of applicable experience may be substituted for degree required. Minimum HS diploma or GED.

  • Consulting industry experience preferred.

  • Strong knowledge and proficiency in standard engineering techniques and procedures for project and program management.

  • Successfully leading multiple software technology projects to completion.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Excellent presentation skills with internal and external audiences of various sizes.

  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, CAD platforms, GIS, analysis programs, and data acquisition platforms.

  • Strong knowledge of computer logic and data analytics preferred.

  • Ability to work methodically and analytically in a quantitative problem-solving environment and demonstrated critical thinking skills.

  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization, and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated ability to advance learning of new concepts and applying knowledge to deliverables.
