Burns & McDonnell Environmental Remediation Project Manager in Morristown, New Jersey

Description

We are seeking a self-motivated Environmental Project Manager and Remediation Lead for our New England region to join our successful team of professionals. This seller/doer position requires experience managing client accounts and business development with technical competence in the remediation services area. Project management responsibilities will include significant client interactions, budget and schedule control, technical quality and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Existing business relationships and ability to develop new business as well as cross-sell services to existing client accounts are expected.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering (civil, chemical, environmental) or related field from an accredited curriculum is preferred.

  • Minimum of 8 years of related remedial experience, including subsurface investigations, feasibility studies, remedial design and construction implementation.

  • The successful candidate should possess proven project management skills and a solid understanding of in-situ and ex-situ remedial technologies.

  • Experience with and working knowledge of State and Federal environmental remediation regulations is a must.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop sales strategies, lead business development pursuits and consistently win new business.

  • Experience within multiple market sectors, such as; industrial, aviation, utility, oil & gas, etc. is a plus.

  • Experience with Engineer-Procure-Construct (EPC) or design-build project execution model is preferred.

  • Licensed Site Remediation Professional registration and experience in New Jersey’s ISRA program strongly preferred.

  • Remediation experience in NJ, NY, PA, and/or CT (New England)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong problem-solving abilities.

  • Must possess strong interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work within a Team framework.

  • Self-motivation and the ability to multi-task (write reports, analyze data, perform design tasks, etc.) are also a prerequisite.
