Burns & McDonnell Market Research Analyst in Mumbai, India
Description
Develop a knowledge base of the industry and stay updated on macroeconomic and business environment to identify trends and potential business impacts
Monitor the business activities of major competitors, analyze their results and identify their strategies
Prepare special reports, studies, statistical analysis, graphs and slide presentations for Business Development for conferences, presentations and Business Plans.
Monitor news/publications for business development purposes
Develop competitive intelligence deliverables covering relevant issues in the AEC industry
Acquire, organize, analyze, disseminate, and monitor information on markets, clients, competitors, specific projects, technology, and legislative developments to the Business Development team and management.
Obtain data to support the forecasting and tracking of markets and trends, analyzing collected data.
Monitor industry statistics and follow trends in trade literature and other sources.
Gather data on competitors and analyze their projects, win/losses, methods of marketing, strategies
Prepare reports, illustrating data graphically and translating complex findings into written text for the Business Development team and management.
Utilize intelligence and software tools to analyze and synthesize complex information
Synthesize research findings into well-written and visually compelling summary reports and presentations
All other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Business, Market Research, Statistics, Engineering, or Construction related field), or equivalent industry experience.Minimum of 3 years’ experience conducting, analyzing and documenting market research
Quantitative and qualitative analysis skills and experience
Experience with organizing and cataloging research
Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of work, managing multiple projects and coordinating multiple requests to successful completion.
Proven ability to take initiative and build strong and productive personal relationships
Excellent creative and strategic abilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication, listening, analytical, problem solving, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
Excellent computer skills using Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, Word, etc.
Basic understanding of data management and analytical software, such as CRM, SharePoint, PowerBI, etc.
Superior organizational, time management and project management skills, and the ability to exercise sound independent judgment
