As a Process Engineer you will be part of high performance teams, promoting the Burns & McDonnell culture, values and mission.   • Experience to Develop FEED/ Basic engineering Package, Detail Engineering, Develop Feasibility study, conceptual study reports.

  • Experience in Oil & Gas upstream, green Hydrogen, carbon capture, refinery unit, Petrochemical, LNG, Ammonia, cryogenic storage is preferred.

  • Lead medium size project.

  • Coordinate with other disciplines within BMI and with US team.

  • Participated in Safety studies HAZOP / SIL

  • Familiar in using Aspen HYSYS, HTRI, Aspen Flare System Analyzer (Flare net) software

  • Knowledge of manhour estimation of process deliverables in various phases

  • Preparation and review of discipline deliverables: PFD, UFD, H&MB, P&ID, DP/DT diagram, datasheets, Vendor drawing reviews, etc.

  • Perform and review calculations and data sheet for Tanks, Spheres, Vessels / Separators, Heat Exchangers, Pumps, Compressors, etc.

  • Carry out line hydraulics for gas, liquid and two phase flow.

  • Generate calculations/data sheet for Control valves, Instruments, PSVs, Cause & effect and Control narrative etc.

  • Prepare / Review Line list, Equipment list, Utility summary, Hazardous Area Classification Schedule, Tie-in List, Effluent and Emission Summary, Relief Summary, etc.

  • Use Smart Plant P&ID (SP-PID) to perform engineering tasks

  • Provide and maintain quality output for engineering deliverables

  • Adhere quality requirements by following checklist and quality processes/workflows

  • Actively contribute and participate in departmental initiatives like knowledge sharing and innovation.

  • Travel to the United States as required and requested to support assignments on projects and overall office needs

Qualifications

The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in Chemical Engineering. The candidate should have a work experience of 6-9 years.
