Burns & McDonnell Staff Electrical Engineer in Mumbai, India
Requires a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a directly related field plus five (5) years of relevant experience.
Five (5) years of experience in the following (experience may be gained concurrently):
Designing control systems for municipal water and wastewater treatment facilities
Utilizing software packages, including AutoCAD, REVIT, Plant 3D, SKM, ETAP, EasyPower, AGi32, Elumtools, or Bluebeam
Application of codes and standards, including NEC, NFPA 820, NFPA 70E, or ISA
Designing electrical systems for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including power distribution (low and medium voltage), emergency power system design, load calculations, developing one-line drawings, grounding system design, lighting systems, fire alarm systems, and lightning protection systems
Designing and developing instrumentation and controls for water and wastewater treatment facilities, including design of SCADA systems, development of P&ID’s, network architecture design, control narratives, or Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) systems
Performing the following studies for water and wastewater treatment electrical and control systems: Neher McGrath calculations, short-circuit studies, coordination studies, and arc flash studies.
Designing and developing communication systems, including security systems, fiber optics, voice/data communications systems, or fire/emergency communication systems
Providing construction administration support, including submittal review, procurement, response to Contractor’s requests for information, review and approval of change orders, and development of record of construction documents
Developing engineer’s opinion of probable construction costs for Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls portions of projects at various phases of design
The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering.The candidate should have a work experience of 1-3 years.
