Supplier Quality

1.Prepare Inspection Requirement for Static, Rotary, Piping and Electrical items based on Tech specificationa and Code Requirement

2.Atleast ASNT Level-II certification in RT/UT/MP/DP

3.Preferred-Welding Inspector/Engineer Certification -CSWIP /AWS

4.Able to conduct Pre-Fabrication meeting with Supplier Independently

5.Audit Supplier credentials and Prepare Report

6.Review supplier Quality control plan, NDT procedures, Welding procedures, Heat Treatment Procedures and other testing procedures.

7.Shall be very through with review of welding procedures wrt ASME Sec IX & AWS D1.1

8.Should be familiar with ASME Sec VIII Div 1/Sec IX/Sec V/Sec II/API 610/AWS D1.1/API RP 582

9.Expereince hadling metallurgy like CS,SS,LAS,Duplex,etc

10.Well versed with different Welding Processes and respective essential and Non-essential Variables

11.Stage wise and Final inspection at supplier location ( local as well as foreign supplier) as per approved QCP & project sepcification for Static(Pressure vessels, Heat Exchnagers, Columns, etc), Rotary(Pumps/Compressors,etc), Piping Items(Valve,Flanges, Fittings, pipes ,etc) & Electrical Items (Transformer, Tubular Poles, Control Panel,etc)

12.Independently handle Supplier Quality Assignment

13. Able to issue NCR and well versed with NCR HANDLING

14.Prepare Inspection Report and Final Inspection Release

Expediting

1.Well versed with Manufacturing sequence for Fabricated and Rotary Equipments

2.Knowledge of Long lead Items and crtical process in equipment Fabrication

3.Will be responsible to expedite supplier for project material and supplier document for Rotating equipment, Static Equipments,Piping Material,Electrical & Instrumentation Items for local as well as foreign suppliers.

4.Independetly handle Expedting assignment including visiting supplier

4.Conduct time to time meeting with Supplier ,Engg discipline,Client necessary to meet supplier contactual Delivery date & highlight key issues ,etc

General Requirement

1.Communication skill-Impeccable English written and verbal skills

2. Computer Knowledge and operating skills on MS office .

Qualifications

The candidate should have a B.E/B.Tech/M.E/M.Tech degree in Mechanical Engineering.The candidate should have a work experience of 12- 15 years.
