Description

The Assistant Digital Delivery Specialist assists with digital project delivery. This position will assist the project team and manager(s) in developing the digital project management strategy to further Burns & McDonnell's position and facilitate collaboration with activities, pursuits, and projects. The Assistant Digital Delivery Specialist will work on various projects with a diverse portfolio of project types and clients.

  • Assist with the facilitation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) coordination.

  • Assist with tasks that support the development of digital delivery standards, processes, and tools.

  • Assist with supporting tasks specific to Integrated Project Delivery for design-build projects.

  • Assist with digital delivery tasks using QA/QC standards to adhere to digital delivery scopes of work, schedules, and budgets.

  • Assist with the review of clash detection and follows reporting and resolution process.

  • Assist with the changes to digital model presentations for clients.

  • Assist with the changes to virtual reality simulations for internal and external stakeholders.

  • Assist with researching and compiling required project-related data and performs metadata audits.

  • Assist with creating digital delivery content for the proposal process.

  • Assist with the implementation of digital delivery methods, procedures, and tools.

  • Assist with developing and integrating the digital delivery schedule and project compliance.

  • Assist with all aspects of project setup, such as model file setup, digital project setup; project access, cloud services; digital procurement; miscellaneous support tasks, etc.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.

  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor Degree in virtual design and construction, Engineering Technology, or a related field from an accredited program. required or;

  • Associate Degree and 2 years of experience planning, training, organizing, and delivering complex BIM models and related digital products across project teams required or

  • 4 years of experience planning, training, organizing, and delivering complex BIM models and related digital products across project teams in lieu of a degree required.

  • Prior internship and/or related consulting experience preferred.

  • Basic knowledge of standard digital delivery software, standards, and project deliverables.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient computer skills (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).

  • Basic software and computer skills, including BIM (Revit), Adobe Suites and 3D Rendering Programs, are required.

  • Strong attention to detail, facilitation, team building, collaboration, organization and problem-solving skills.

  • Demonstrated leadership skills.

  • Minimum of a 3.0 GPA strongly preferred.

  • Involvement on campus or in the community preferred.

  • Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship) in the country where this position is located.
