The Burns & McDonnell Energy Global Practice is seeking to hire a Staff Startup Coordinator for our Energy Global Practice!
This position as a Staff Startup Coordinator will be responsible for performing field electro-mechanical commissioning assignments in support of startup commissioning efforts on various Power Plants and/or Industrial Plants. This position will perform tests for a wide variety of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems in conformance with project startup standards and procedures.
Compile and prepare documents for startup activities and major milestones.
Prepare and present clear startup procedures as required by clients.
Perform discipline section commissioning activities and testing of startup packages as required in accordance with plans, procedures and agreements.
Prepare documentation for proper maintenance of startup packages.
Provide vendor technical support for equipment testing and commissioning in order to achieve daily testing goals.
Observe and promote company and site safety policies.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Associate's or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Power & Controls or a relevant field of study. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
A minimum of 5 years of Startup Commissioning experience on Power or Industrial Plants (required.)
Computer Skills: MS Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat.
Candidates will be required to complete a minimum of 10 hours of OSHA training in order to be OSHA 10 Hour Certified.
