Burns & McDonnell EPC Oil, Gas, Bio-Processing Project Manager in Saint Louis, Missouri

Description

We are seeking to hire a EPC Project Manager for our Oil, Gas & Chemical Global Practice in our St. Louis, MO regional office to join our growing operations supporting the process industries!

  • The EPC-Project Manager leads the development and execution of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) of process type projects in the refining, midstream, chemical, petrochemical and bio-processing industry.

  • Directs and coordinates activities of several disciplines on a project of moderate to large scope or a combination of smaller projects.

  • Directs coordination with clients and other external entities.

  • May initiate or assist in prime contract negotiations or preparation and leads all subcontract definition, award and management of execution.

  • Drives project planning, budgeting and establishing critical project objectives.

  • Leads the FEL/FEP process and manages the project through close-out.

  • Must be able to lead all aspects of a major process project including procurement, project controls, QA/QC, health and safety, field construction management, etc.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field from an accredited curriculum. Minimum 7 years related experience, including 3 or more years managing engineering or architectural projects.

  • Experience in the refining/midstream/chemical/bioprocessing industry.

  • Must have ability to deal effectively with a wide variety of industry, government and public contracts on project-related matters.

  • Excellent written & verbal communication skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

  • Professional Registration preferred.
