Burns & McDonnell Project Manager in Wallingford, Connecticut

Description

Manages the deployment and customization of project management systems to meet client specific requirements within established budgets and deadlines. Works with clients on-site and with end-users to continually evolve the tools as needed to support organizational goals; works on business development opportunities; recruits new team members; supports, directs, and coordinates development of program management tools; utilizes Oracle BI publisher to develop customer facing documents and interactive management reports against Contract Manager 14.x, Unifier 16.x and P6v8; utilizes Primavera Unifier 15.x/16.x to manage project lifecycle for capital planning, project delivery, cost control, and facilities; utilizes Adobe LiveCycle to create custom reporting in conjunction with Primavera Unifier. 5% travel.

Qualifications

Position requires a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field plus seven (7) years of experience in the offered role, cost analysis and cost engineering experience on projects, or another related field or role. Requires two (2) years of experience in each of the following:

  • Experience in uLink, uDesigner, and Unifier

  • Knowledge of Earned Value Analysis, Cost Forecasting and Cost Analysis

  • Experience within the Project & Portfolio Management industry and demonstrated expertise in implementing Unifier

  • Experience implementing Unifier in Aviation, Oil & Gas or Pipeline sectors

Will accept a Master’s degree plus four (4) years of experience.

40 hours/week. 9am - 5pm.
